This is very fun and well done. i enjoyed it so much I want to send it to everyone I know. i wish I could go to Toronto to see it performed. The picture of the two lesbians with the leaves in their hair remind me of my wedding photo with my partner, We jumped over the broom with Z. Budapest officiating.

My Grandma lives in Peterborough, and I in London, so we decided to meet in the middle for a day out together. We couldn’t have picked a better show to see! We had a wonderful day out and this was a truly memorable play that elicits almost every emotion, and my Grandma and I will remember it as a highlight of our trips together.

I brought my non-lesbian, non-Jewish, non-Wiccan, mom to the play and we really loved it. Lots of fun, sometimes serious, always thoughtful. It’s a great story about moms & sons, and how people find love and acceptance.

By the way, we have been listening to the soundtrack a lot, and I have 3 thoughts:

    1. Love it! <3
    2. Only "meh" song: 5 mothers *skip*.
    3. WHERE can we find the lyrics?

I just saw the show today with my partner and good friends and we LOVED it!! Lots of hilarious moments, a few teary-eyed ones. All in all, one of the best shows I have seen in years!! So charming!!

My husband was a little worried about me taking my young adult daughters to this show, and boy was he wrong! We laughed and cried, and being straight didn’t limit our ability to relate to these amazing very human characters. Congratulations to all involved! I will be back with plenty more family, including my husband!

I should also mention that the quality of the live music makes the production very classy. It really builds anticipation to walk into the theatre and be greeted by the band playing. As David Hein floats between band member and character, he adds further texture and dimension to the music.

Just got back from the musical this afternoon with six of my friends. I laughed so hard my make-up was running. The story was really touching, really real. David and Irene, you are great storytellers. I am thrilled that the show has been extended in February and March. I have to bring everyone else!

Just saw the show for the third time and can’t wait till it returns again in February so I can see it again. The whole cast was amazing and very talented and Irene and David should be congratulated on writing such an amazing story.

OMG – I just loved the play. I related to the mother’s character – I went through a similar experience – and now I want to see the play again with my partner and my own grown son. (just to be sure he’s not holding back any feelings either). lol. thanks for a WONDERFUL afternoon and all the best to you all.
